Through our Feminist Peace Initiatives we support local, innovative and feminist peacebuilding initiatives and projects of our network members. They are a tool for promoting and advancing the “Women, Peace and Security” agenda through self-identified community needs, and allow network members to try out new ideas that match their own priorities.
Through our Feminist Peace Initiatives (FPI) we support local, innovative and feminist peacebuilding initiatives and projects of our network members. They are a tool for promoting and advancing the “Women, Peace and Security” agenda through self-identified community needs, and allow network members to try out new ideas that match their own priorities. The maximum amount of funding provided by PeaceWomen Across the Globe is CHF 5,000 per Initiative. This relatively small amount is intended to enable innovative feminist projects to get off the ground quickly without having to jump through many of the hoops associated with larger, more traditional donors.
Are you a local peacebuilder with an innovative idea to advance feminist peace and need quick funding to implement it? Read the criteria, find out more and contact us.
