Women were directly affected by the ten-year conflict in Nepal, but were largely excluded from the peace negotiations. We promote the participation of women in the transitional justice processes and in conflict transformation.
Making peace processes more gender-sensitive
In 2019, we brought peace activists from Colombia, Nepal and the Philippines together to share their experiences of armed conflict and of the subsequent peace efforts and to benefit from each other's expertise.
As an internationally active network organisation, we implement our projects and programmes in close cooperation with a variety of different local organisations – from grassroots organisations to nationally active non-governmental organisations.
