Our commitment:
Our political commitment is based on four international human rights standards, which form the basis for women's and human rights, gender-just peace policies and sustainable development. We are committed to their effective implementation, internationally and in Switzerland.
Our civil society and political commitment focus on UN Security Council Resolution 1325 and its follow-up resolutions on "Women, Peace and Security", the UN Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Istanbul Convention.
Together with our cooperation partners, we write shadow and alternative reports on the implementation of these instruments, to which Switzerland and other countries have committed, and participate in consultations.

Experiencing feminist peace work through storytellingWhen do I feel safe? What contributes to me feeling unsafe? Do I know why? And what structures lie behind it? On 22 April 2023, as part of the Tour de Lorraine in Bern, we are holding a workshop on feminist peace work in which we will explore these questions using storytelling methods. |
