Effective participation of women in peace processes – Women's PeaceTable in Switzerland

The last of the thirty Women's PeaceTables will take place in Switzerland. PWAG has invited Miriam Coronel Ferrer to Switzerland to participate in this.

Professor Coronel Ferrer, the Philippine peace expert, was one of the first women to sign a peace treaty with a rebel group. She will report at the Women's PeaceTable in Switzerland on her experience as the chief negotiator of the peace agreement with the Moro Islamic Liberation Front.

The Swiss Peace Table will highlight the demands of women from all over the world!

With the participation of Ambassador Heidi Grau (Head of Human Security, FDFA), Dr Thania Paffenholz (Graduate Institute, Geneva) and Margret Kiener Nellen (National Councillor), we will discuss how Switzerland can support these demands and promote the effective participation of women in peace processes.

You are cordially invited to the event and also to the Apéro afterwards!

In German and English with translation. avl interpreters carries out the simultaneous translation German – English and vice versa.
