On the topic of "demilitarisation": "Feminists Connecting for Peace" 1

FCP magazine 1

The “Feminists Connecting for Peace” magazine showcases the diverse work of our global network.

Supporting feminist peace activists and making their work visible are at the heart of PeaceWomen Across the Globe's vision and practice. To this end, we launched the magazine “Feminists Connecting for Peace”. In articles and interviews, activists from our global network of the same name share their insights and experiences. Each issue is dedicated to a focus topic and examined from different angles.

The first issue focuses on demilitarisation. Militarism takes different forms in the countries and regions of our partners. The articles in the launch edition therefore reflect the diversity of our network and the respective contexts: Olena Zinenko, project partner from Ukraine, writes about the impact of media on women and society; Shukrije Gashi and Hilmije Ramabaja report on the project we support for the reintegration of former IS fighters in Kosovo, and much more.
