06.07.2022, Platform Agenda 2030: Switzerland lives at the world's expense
Switzerland is not on track to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. We are living at the expense of the world. This is the assessment of Swiss civil society seven years after the adoption of the Agenda 2030. Together with the more than 50 organisations that make up the Platform Agenda 2030, we call on the Federal Council to show more leadership for sustainable development.
In its report published on 6 July 2022, the Platform Agenda 2030 does not see Switzerland on course for a sustainable world. It calls on the Federal Council to show more leadership for the necessary transformation to halve poverty, protect the climate and human rights, as well as to hold the financial centre accountable.
