02.05.2022, Policy brief on Switzerland's National Action Plan 1325: Centering Care in Women, Peace and Security

Together with our partners in Swiss civil society, we comment on Switzerland's implementation of its Fourth National Action Plan on UN Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security.

This report summarises the reflections and recommendations of Swiss civil society and its partners on the question of how socio-economic barriers, and the conditions under which care work in particular is performed, hinder women’s participation in political and peace processes in Switzerland and abroad. It sheds light on three care-related obstacles to women’s participation.
