26.10.2020, Press release: 20 years "Women, Peace and Security": who is safe?

The UN Security Council passed Resolution 1325 on 31 October 2000. It is considered a milestone for women's rights. For the first time, women's concerns were made part of the international security agenda. The resolution takes a women's perspective on armed conflicts and demands the increased participation of women in peace processes.
